Seoul Airport (ICN) has a Main Terminal and it is planned to built a new one on 2017 naming the actual terminal “Terminal 1” and the newest one “Terminal 2”. It is planned that the Terminal 2 is going to host SkyTeam and Korean Air in 2018.
The Main Terminal has 44 boarding ports and recently it counts with an automatic check-in counter available to all passengers that travel with Asiana Airlines, China Southern or Korean Air.
The Main Passenger Terminal is the largest airport terminal in area in South and is provided with 120 arrival passport inspection counters, 50 customs inspection ports, more than 250 check-in counters, 120 departure passport inspection counters, between other facilities.
The airport has a Concourse that connects the Main Terminal with two passageways. It has 30 gates and 6 lounges of the following airlines:
- Asiana Airlines / Star Alliance
- Singapore Airlines / Star Alliance
- China Eastern Airlines / SkyTeam
- Japan Airlines / Oneworld
- Cathay Pacific / Oneworld
- Korean Air / SkyTeam
The Arrivals area is located in the Second Floor of the Concourse and it has gates 101-132.
To take the shuttle train passengers may take the escalator.
The Departures area is located in the Third Floor of the Concourse.
